COMMUNITY IMPACT
Our commitment to the communities we serve is at the core of what we do
The Guildhall Trust places its communities at the centre of everything it does; inspiring, entertaining and transforming lives.
We strive to deliver inspirational opportunities so that people regardless of their age or background want to engage with culture and the creative economy, providing a range of health and wellbeing benefits as a result.
Each year we have over 12,000 instances of engagement with our communities through the rich programme of activities, groups, workshops and courses that we offer.
As a not-for-profit Charity, we invest funds back into the fabric of our venues, creating multi-faceted cultural hubs and improved facilities in the heart of our communities.
OUR GET INVOLVED PROGRAMME

Investing in our Venues and Communities
As a not-for-profit Charity, we invest back into our venues and programmes which enables us to become more efficient and profitable whilst creating better facilities for community use.
The Renaissance of Portsmouth Guildhall is an ambitious programme of works to preserve the cultural heritage of the historic Concert Hall. The first phase of works saw the development of a Studio performance space and recent works include the creation of The BASE, one of the most unique and innovative creative spaces in the country.
Investments at The White Rock Theatre have seen the installation of a full Rock PA system, the development of a secondary performance space; Studio 27, and the creation of a digital learning suite.
